LA POSTE distribution deploys Caljan
La Poste has just opened the doors of their new distribution centre in Limoge. The 5,000 m² building includes 2 parcel sorting lines that make the unloading process more efficient. Telescopic Conveyors are vital equipment, enabling more than 10,000 packages a day to be handled with ease.
To double transport capacity, the packages arrive in bulk at the new LA POSTE site. CALJAN PERFORMER Telescopic Conveyors are used to unload parcels and polybags, sending them swiftly on to the sorting system.
A more efficient unloading process.
The constant increase in the volume of packages requires a modern system. The 2 process lines at this new LA POSTE distribution centre enables the company to meet customer demands for shorter lead times. At the moment, 2-day delivery is standard. The goal in the future is next day delivery. We are doing our part to make it happen.
